The Scramble FAQ
What is the Scramble Meal Planning Service?
The Scramble is a subscription-based meal planning service. Each week you will receive a suggested, seasonal meal plan, complete with family-tested, healthy recipes, side dish recipes and an organized shopping list. As a member you will also get great tips on healthy family eating and related topics.
Can I customize my meal plan?
Yes. With the Scramble recipe database you can choose to use only a few meals from the weekly menu or to swap in recipe from the Scramble database or your own Scramble recipe box. Your shopping list is automatically updated with your selections!
I have some very picky eaters at home. What do you mean by “family friendly”? Does that mean mac and cheese and chicken nuggets every night?
Scramble meals offer a wide variety of healthy foods. All Scramble meals are created by mother of two, Aviva Goldfarb, and tested by families (many of whom have picky eaters) so you start off knowing there is a great chance your family will try (and enjoy!) the meals. Many parents have been amazed by the transformation of their formerly picky eaters with the Scramble’s healthy and delicious recipes.

I already own one (or more) of the Six O’Clock Scramble cookbooks? Why would I also subscribe?
While some of the recipes in the Scramble newsletter do overlap with those in the cookbook, Aviva is constantly developing great new recipes to incorporate into the latest weekly menu plans. With the Scramble subscription service you will get a meal plan for the week, along with your weekly grocery shopping, plus extra general advice and columns, and you can easily customize your plan to your family’s tastes, schedules and needs. Recipes that are also in the cookbooks are noted so you can sav
What happens when my Scramble subscription expires?
Most subscribers find that they save so much money, stress and time, and eat so much healthier, that they renew their Six O’Clock Scramble subscriptions. If you choose not to, we will keep your recipe box with its contents on file for a year. You can rejoin at any time during this period and your information will be waiting for you.
