This healthy snack is as quick to make than any microwave popcorn, and there are no artificial ingredients. The tiny bit of sugar makes it extra crunchy and delicious. Try this recipe and you’ll see why you never have to buy the factory-produced stuff again!
In a heavy stockpot, heat the oil over medium heat for about 1 minute.
Add the popcorn kernels and the sugar, give them a quick stir, and partially cover the pot so just a little air can escape. Pop the corn, shaking the pan occasionally, until there is a few seconds between pops and most of the kernels are popped.
Meanwhile, melt the butter. Turn off the heat, stir in the butter, transfer the corn to a bowl and season it with the salt. Serve immediately.
