At its core, my life’s work has always been about helping people to (re)discover the strength and fortitude they have inside by acknowledging their struggles and then facing them with practical, manageable action. I have done this through coaching, writing, teaching, and making one of my greatest passions, cooking and eating food, more accessible and pleasurable for busy families.

I believe in the power of action. Messy, imperfect action. I believe in the joy of being your true self. I believe in the love that is generated when we open ourselves to accepting and embracing a world in which we can’t do it all, but we will embrace the parts we can.
Food is one of the most powerful tools for building connections. At The Scramble we believe food should be savored, enjoyed, and shared, rather than restricted, avoided, or argued over. We believe the easiest way to reduce the stress so many feel about eating is to incorporate simple home cooking into your daily life.
